Discover Types of LED Lighting for Industrial Use

19 November 2024

Choosing the right lighting for a production hall is crucial for work efficiency and safety within the facility. Depending on the ceiling height and design requirements, various types of LED luminaires can be used to ensure optimal lighting conditions in industrial spaces.

HIGH BAY LUMINAIRES
High bay LED lighting is a solution for spaces with high ceilings or open areas where strong and uniform lighting over a large surface is required. It is typically used in industrial spaces such as factories and warehouses, but also in sports or commercial facilities where the ceiling exceeds five meters or where luminaires are installed at significant heights. Industrial LED high bay luminaires offer a wide range of optics and beam angles, a large selection of light outputs, and various mounting options. This enables the creation of an ideal and tailored lighting solution for almost any industrial or logistics application. The exceptional durability of these luminaires, along with their resistance to harsh weather conditions, makes high bay lighting one of the most popular choices for both indoor and outdoor professional lighting applications.

SEALED AND LINEAR LUMINAIRES
An alternative to high bay luminaires are sealed and linear luminaires, which provide a wide light distribution concentrated along a line. This type of luminaire is usually installed in industrial and warehouse halls, as well as in large retail spaces and garages. One of the advantages of linear luminaires is the ability to create lighting lines of any length. They generate relatively high light output, even at low power consumption. They ensure good visibility and help prevent eye fatigue. Our luminaires, especially those equipped with optics designed to reduce glare, are perfect for installations at lower heights, typically a few meters.

SAFE VOLTAGE 24V AC LUMINAIRES
A voltage of 24V is considered “safe voltage,” as even prolonged contact with the circuit does not pose a real threat to human life or health. Ensuring lighting safety in conditions of increased humidity and environments prone to electrical shock provides peace of mind not only during installation but, more importantly, during later use. Facilities with high humidity, such as inspection and service pits, require high light output, particularly due to their atypical location. Limited access to external lighting means that additional lighting is needed for virtually every mechanical task. Our LED luminaires for explosion-hazard zones powered by safe 24V AC voltage offer high efficiency and exceptional durability, making them ideal for demanding conditions.

EXPLOSION-PROOF EX LUMINAIRES
Explosion-proof luminaires, marked with the Ex symbol, are a specialized type of lighting designed for operation in hazardous areas. According to the European Parliament’s ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, all products intended for use in such areas must meet strict safety and health protection requirements. The level of required safety measures and the related assessment procedures depend directly on the level of hazard and the environment in which the equipment will operate. The ATEX certificate is issued by an accredited certification body as confirmation of a successful outcome of rigorous testing, covering the design, prototype, and production process, along with regular audits of the production facility.
